Contact lenses are a great option for most patients. For both new and experienced patients to use contact lenses, an evaluation is required to obtain a prescription for them. Contact lens evaluations are additional to the comprehensive eye exam since not everyone wears contact lenses.

Contact lens prescriptions are often different from glasses prescriptions because contact lenses sit closer to your eyes. This requires additional measurements to ensure that the correct prescription is given. Also, since contact lenses directly touch the front of your eyes, the doctor must ensure the contact lenses fit properly on the cornea to ensure healthy lens wear.

Based on your age, visual needs, and frequency of wear, we will determine which contact lens option will work best for your comfort and eye health. We fit a range of soft contact lenses – including toric lenses for astigmatism and bifocal & multifocal lenses for patients requiring both distance & near correction.
